Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: YES

  • VS Code Version: 1.78.2
  • OS Version: macOS 10.14.6

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. open a terminal
  2. start anything (a process)
  3. use ctrl+c to stop the process (any process)
  4. process won't stop
    2023-05-17 08 36 59

Kill terminal through vscode UI won't stop the process, have to kill manually every time
