VSCode Version: 1.34.0
Local OS Version: macOS Mojave
Remote OS Version: CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)
Remote Extension/Connection Type: SSH

Steps to Reproduce:

Try to connect to remote server from where external urls are not accessible
Get the below error

Unable to establish SSL connection.

Does this issue occur when you try this locally?: No
Does this issue occur when you try this locally and all extensions are disabled?: No

Is there any way to manually setup the server by copying files from local?
