It was quite a few years ago that SnippetString was probably removed from the server side, #152, and moved to completion items only. Is there any chance of getting it back in code actions as well? Yes, it would be required in some cases, for instance when refactoring offers to convert a foreach loop into a for loop, it would be expected to allow the user to rename the automatically generated index variable in snippet mode.
