[19H1/19H2] Directory\Background doesn't work in non-en-US? #10694
Comments
This might be a limitation in Windows 10.0.18363 that we have not been able to work around. I will put it on the backlog. |
(tempted to close this out since we're dropping support for 19H1 and 19H2 builds, and we believe this is fixed in 19041+) |
@ifwlzs Are you still seeing this on newer builds/? We suspect this was a platform issue that was fixed on newer Windows 10 builds (which the Terminal now also requires) |
@zadjii-msft I'm using windows 10 2009 (10.0.19044.2193) now, and I just tried it, but there is no desktopinside the folderabove the folder name |
wt version : 1.15.2874.0 |
Windows Terminal version (or Windows build number)
10.0.18363.1256,1.9.1942.0
Other Software
No response
Steps to reproduce
In the current file directory, the right-click shortcut cannot open wt
Nothing happens when the software is opened in the blank space of the current directory, but it is normal to open the software on the desktop and in the folder.

In the case of

shift + right click
, wt can’t be opened either .Cmd and powershell can run normally under the same conditionsRight-click on the desktop, you can execute wt

By the way, I am not sure if it is caused by incorrect registry information. I want to modify, but I don’t know how to start
Expected Behavior
No response
Actual Behavior
the right-click shortcut cannot open wt
