@TooresRaev have you looked at ZoomIt? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit /needinfo |
I know there are other solutions out there. I think my office uses Zoomit
with all other features turned off.
But it would be nice to have this feature baked into windows.

If you want it in windows, feedback hub is the way to go. We would recommend zoom it |

Description of the new feature / enhancement
Powertoys could have a quick draw (mark-up) feature. Basically, whenever I press a shortcut I can draw on screen (transparent overlay) and when I press ESC it disappears. There could be a basic toolbar for colors and line drawing and so on.
Scenario when this would be used?
I would use it every time when in a Teams meeting with my teacher.
And we are using similar solution at work to illustrate on a CAD modelling screen. But the current solution is an app that does bunch of things but all the rest is turned off. An additional powertoys feature would be much more elegant.
Supporting information
I know there are options to do this after taking a "snip" of the screen, but when I'm sharing my screen and want to quickly illustrate something, I don't want to take a screenshot.
This way I have the ability to take the screenshot at the end but also I can just press ESC to discard the drawing.
Also it makes it much quicker to annotate multiple things in row. Draw -> ESC -> change page -> draw again...
