There appears to be issues converting back from state-space representation to ⇒ zpk or rational representations.

...So I hard-coded a value to get dsexample2 to work... ish.

An issue has been filed: JuliaControl/ControlSystems.jl#475

The Controlsystems.jl issue is closed on master now, I hope it solves your original issue!
