On Linux it's currently being released as a binary blob. I should release it as a Flatpak instead so it's as easy as possible to get it to work.

Unfortunately Flatpak lacks good support for using proprietary Nvidia drivers as I found out here, so this is put on hold until they have come up with a good solution for that.
It seems possible to use proprietary Nvidia drivers in Flatpak apps. I don't know how, and it comes with its own issues (source 1, source 2).
I haven't been able to find good documentation for it, and I find the Flatpak documentation poor in general. So I'll wait with Flatpak until I can either get a Linux + Nvidia machine to test it on myself, or I find good documentation for how this works.
