The ability to use .schem or .schematics for generalized assets like street signs, traffic lights or foliage
I think to speed up the building process and make the initial output prettier it could be cool to use build schematics as a replacement for specific general things including NBT data or metadata on the items within the schematics

such as

  • trees
  • street lights
  • stop signs
  • traffic lights

Other possible inclusions of this feature
If you were to take climate data and translate that into minecraft biomes based on the general location of the selected area you could attribute specific builds for those climate zones, i.e if you select the grand canyon it automatically picks assets attributed with that climate zone like a desert or if you select a portion of florida it chooses swamp trees
