I've been working on this in #90. I was able to patch 24.07, but patching the unstable Helix was giving me hell. Adding some links next time I want to battle with demons.

Overriding the unwrapped unstable helix via passthru.wrapper
Overriding helix from the flake input, even if it's not being patched

Basic override of helix from pkgs
More override of normal pkgs helix
