I opened one of my web apps today and the new sidebar popped up. (the address bar is a seperate issue, #320)

I did manage to disable it, but it required setting the sidebar button to 'Show and hide sidebar' then turning on the address bar, clicking the sidebar button in the address bar to hide it, then turning off the address bar again.
Never mind, it came back after a restart... grrrr

Would be nice if this was automatic, either tied to the address bar toggle or with a new toggle.

It also seems like this is being rolled out, as only one of my profiles has it.

Seems like Firefox has "borrowed" a feature from the Floorp browser here. I'm wondering if other browser like Floorp has the same issue with the sidebar now.

Weird, I've used this sidebar in my 'real' firefox profile but I have yet to see it appear in any webapps, and definitely not in any newly-created ones. If this becomes a default (or if anyone can determine its trigger) we could consider allowing it to be enabled/disabled, but from what I know about it, it's never going to be a major UI element (like the URL bar)

I found an actual workaround for this, open about:config and change sidebar.revamp to false in the offending profile.
