Very bad network performance this upgrade to 1.0.3 (from v0.23.2)

Hello all,

I'm using Colima (which makes uses of Lima) on a MBP M3 (MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)).
Since I upgraded lima to 1.0.3, I have a very bad network performance from the VMs, lots of DNS requests randomly fails, and when they succeed, the overall network performance is horribly bad.

Do you guys have the same issue ? Where can it come from, and do you have hints which could help me to troubleshoot ?

(Two side remarks BTW) :

• I am also impacted by the system DNS change issue, which requires to restart the VM whenever the system DNS server changes, except when assigning a reachable IP address to the instance which seems to fix it
• Assigning this IP address to the instance does not fix the performance issues

What was the latest version that worked well? v1.0.2?

Previous installed version was v0.23.2...

v1.0.4 contains a fix for DNS: https://github.com/lima-vm/lima/releases/tag/v1.0.4

Unclear if the issue is same as yours though.
