This is a simple, lightweight jQuery plug-in designed to easily add notifications to your web site.
You can apply this to any element or the document or window and anchor the notifications at the top, bottom, or any corner.

defaults are:
  appendAlerts: true, // setting this to false will only ever show 1 alert
	location: 'bottom', // can be the following values: 'top', 'bottom', 'top-left', 'top-right', 'bottom-right', 'bottom-left'
	timeout: 0, // leave at 0 for no timeout, otherwise set in milliseconds how long to display the notification
	title: 'Notifications', // Text to appear in title bar
	width: '100px', // This only applies when anchored to a corner, 'top' and 'bottom' will always use 100%
	usesJQueryUI: false // Optionally adds jQueryUI classes

CSS classes to target:
  .notification-area // Style of containing div
  .notification-title // Style of title bar
  .notification-message // Style of each message

Sample Usage:
  $(window).notificaitons();
  $(window).notifications('notify', 'hey there!');
