擊木知音法

其法：先擊字母第幾捓是某字，次擊八聲第幾聲，又次擊十五音以止爲定。凡一字必擊三次，如要寫默信，必打三碼仔方成一字。

所貴者凡字个有不識，可由十五音字母推出查之，便識其字。

如「飲茶」二字。「飲」字：字母「金」字擊四捓、次擊八聲二捓 、又次擊十五音十一捓。「茶」字：字母「家」字擊二捓 、次擊八聲五捓、又次擊十五音五捓。

〤〇、〢〇、〡一 是「飲」字

〡〇、〥〇、〥〇 是「茶」字

如「食飯」二字。「食」字：字母「加」字擊州七捓、次擊八聲八捓、又次擊十五音八捓。「飯」字：字母「君」字擊一捓、次擊八聲七捓、又次擊十五音二捓。

〺〧、〨〇、〨〇 是「食」字

〡〇、〧〇、〢〇 是「飯」字

此是由編未字母四十字世俗通用的如就部首字母四十字擊之亦可總之兩人皆熟擊之便知。
