Hi!
I have an iMac 27" 2017 running High Sierra 10.13.6 and an Akitio node with an Asus 1080 ti turbo 11go in it.
I managed to install the drivers, following the different steps or fixes found on egpu.io but now everything is installed, the GPU isn't recognised by the system. I also tried with the Goalque script but it cannot run because it says that the GPU isn't detected.
I tried hotplugging as well but with no effect.
I don't know if it's a result of the problem, but the card blows at full speed for a while 5 to 10mn) before calming down.
Do you have an idea of what can cause this?
I include the checkSystem from the script hoping it may help.
I am trying to use an eGPU (Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Box 650), housing a Titan V GPU with a Mac Pro computer (running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G4015)).
I am using your macOS-eGPU script; ran it with the --beta flag. Please see my attachment for the console output when using the beta flag and the checksystem. The computer still does not recognize the eGPU. Do you have any suggestions that I can try?
