KServe and Kubeflow 1.6 release #2197
Comments
Hello @annajung @pvaneck @yuzisun just to summary the discussion regarding Kubeflow 1.6 from the last KServe meeting, the key question is the minimum Kubernetes version that Kubeflow is going to support, as this will dictate what Knative versions can be included. Please correct me if I got that wrong or there is anything more that you'd like us to take care of. |
That is correct, Thanks @mstopa ! |
Due to a blocker that was identified last week, we are delaying the release for 2 weeks, with the possibility of another extension. The new feature freeze date is Wednesday, Jun 15th, 2022. If another extension is needed, another announcement will be made to notify the community.

After checking with all WGs, we are delaying the release for 2 more weeks. The new feature freeze date is Wednesday, Jun 29th, 2022. Email announcement: https://groups.google.com/g/kubeflow-discuss/c/I4l97HvrGEA/m/227aCe_mCgAJ The release team is tracking KServe 0.9 (if available) and 0.8 (if 0.9 is unavailable) for the 1.6 release. If there are changes to the branch/tag, please let us know before the new feature freeze deadline. |
Facing this issue while updating Kserve mainfests: kserve/kserve#2297. @pvaneck has agreed to help us update the kserve_kubeflow manifest to unblock this. Thanks |
Once kserve/kserve#2296 merges in master, I'll cherry-pick to the KServe |
release branch updated with fixes: https://github.com/kserve/kserve/tree/release-0.8 |
