New release?

Hello

Is there any plan to publish a new Photon release with latest changes?

I'd like to use new "filter by layer" introduced by #667 on a private Photon instance.

For various reasons (political and technical), I cannot deploy a custom build (compiled from master) on this instance.

There are no specific plans for a release but it's been a year since the last one, so I guess it is time.
