I believe official helium hotspots ships with Rasberry Pi 4 and RAK2287. If you use same concentrator, I believe you should not see any difference but this repo was based on RAK2245. I have not compared the range.
Do you no if this project will still work on helium as a miner as they have stopped support for diy projects and not giving tokens to add to there network
I believe Helium stopped the alpha program for free token and everyone has to pay to join the network but I may be wrong. Not very active on helium channel lately. But in either way, miner would work and packets will be forwarded. If you can't join the network, you can't earn HTN.
