Tab completion in IPython is so simple, excellent, intuitive and time-tested... Please, implement the exact same behavior in Notebook!

Currently, the completion in Notebook requires 3 keys (tab, arrow, enter) while it requires only 1 key (tab) in IPython for the same purpose. The current behavior of the completion in Notebook waists time and finger energy. The current behavior of the completion in IPython is optimal, and has been such for years.

Thank you for reporting this issue @olcc! If these changes are implemented in JupyterLab, they will be available in Notebook as well. I will close this issue as a duplicate of the issue you've linked from JupyterLab.
