Sofle-Choc Top layer

As per Guide https://josefadamcik.github.io/SofleKeyboard/build_guide_choc.html , For Top Layer, /Gerbers/Choc_v2/choc-v2-gerber-top.zip should be used and sent to PCB manufacturer.

Has anyone thought about Getting a 3D model out of this (perhaps a step file ) and get it 3d printed ? If so, can you possibly recommend 3D print material and would it be sturdy enough for choc (reason for asking 3d printed one is cost effective )
