Issue in Side by Side view layout

I was experimenting with the side-by-side layout in the DWV demo app. I loaded two series into the viewer one after the other and then switched to the side-by-side layout, which worked as expected. However, when I tried to load a new series afterward, the previous layer data wasn’t cleared, and the new data was applied on top of the existing images.

Is there a way to clear the previous data from the layer groups, so that we can load and view multiple series in the side-by-side layout without overlapping issues?

The way to clear the demo viewer is to refresh the page.
