Can we begin deprecation of this repository in favor of https://github.com/ipld/go-ipld-prime/tree/master/codec/dagcbor ?

i guess the question is "what does 'begin' deprecation mean?"

Are we at a point where it would be useful to add a readme entry to this repo indicating that we recommend codec/dagcbor for any new development?

I see. Yeah, I would add a link in the readme saying "here be a better thing". In terms of how strongly we want to recommend, I guess the question is: how stable is it? Basically, how much do we expect to change it as we integrate it into go-ipfs?
