I recently had the need to identify orphan pages and media in our DW setup.
I looked for plugins allowing to do that and the best options seemed to be this plugin as well as DisplayOrphans.
I like how this plugin is fast and restricted to the admin interface (regular users don't see it), without the need to have the output displayed on a wiki page.
However, I get A LOT of false positive results with it. I am probably doing something wrong and I guess the UI is not as intuitive as it could be.
I like how DisplayOrphans allows to EXCLUDE namespaces from search results (multiORPHANS allow to specify a namespace but this doesn't work well in my hands), allowing to search all namespaces except the one(s) that were explicitly excluded. I also like how this can be done for specific pages as well (you may want to filter out "start", "sidebar, "topbar" and similar pages from the results. However, it's not as convenient as multiORPHANS for the reasons mentioned above.
I wonder if we could get the best of both worlds if the devs of multiORPHANS could replicate some of the features of DisplayOrphans in order to make multiORPHANS more convenient.
