The apply command works similar to tofu apply:

  • Reads the definitions for which containers should exist (setpoint), and any specific configuration.
  • Takes inventory of what's currently running (actual).
  • Calculates a plan for which changes to make.
  • Obtains permission from user to proceed.
  • Applies the plan.
