How a device is detected into the platform is based of the device type. Also, please create a diagnostics dump from the device from HA: |
Thanks for the quick response. It shows as 'Root Node / Dimmer Switch' Diagnostics: Potentially relevant to mention: Inside Apple Home it displays as a dimmable light. |

I have tested 3 separate devices that all show up the same.
