Found a good deal on an Icon M+ and Midi Fighter, so I'm selling the compact and no longer need help. Please delete this thread mods. Thanks. |

Hello guys. Thanks for making ReaLearn! It's great!
I seem to be having some problems getting my x touch compact working in standard (midi) mode. I want to use standard (midi) mode so I can get the most out of the controller, since push 15 and 16 cannot be assigned, nor Encoders 9-14, or the LEDs in MC mode.
I am getting no responses from the controller with DAW Control as my main and the, depreciated, X Touch Compact/ Layer B ReaPacks in controller compartments. When in standard (midi) mode I only see the midi out (green) LED on the controller being activated, as opposed to both, midi in (red) and midi out (green), LEDs lighting up and responding when in Mackie Control Universal mode in controller compartments and in MC mode on the controller.
My controller is on firmware 1.14 and I noticed in the controller compartment text, at the page for X-Touch Compact here on github, the version is: "version": "1.12.0-pre21"
Is this a problem or is my controller is depreciated and I have to wait for an update to get midi mode working again? Is it something else I am possibly over looking here?
I'm very sorry if it is something common I should know but this is my first controller I am trying to configure and the information on the Compact version of X Touch is lacking compared to the other X Touch controllers out there.
