@raabdo I'll try to take a look at this as soon as I get a chance. Until then, if it's only a build you need, you can get them already compiled in the releases section. Let me know if that helps for now.

I found where root is: elastic/beats@34fb3c8#diff-d2f9f6e7040050cd09938355f7d358a6

White space before comment appends unnecessary space to BEAT_NAME.

It has persisted until beats v6.0.1.
