Line breaks at the end of a tag

Greetings.

When this plugin is active on any scribe-enabled element, I am not able to insert line breaks at the end of the element for some reason. Inserting line breaks from anywhere within the element works, just not at the very end of the text content.

I read in a different issue that <br> tags are automatically allowed to support scribe, so I'm not sure what's going on. I think it's a bug with this plugin, though I haven't inspected the code yet to find out.
