Is this project abandoned? Some of the issues have gone years without being addressed...
Maybe a new maintainer could pick it up and fork it to their own repository?

I didn't see this yesterday but it would appear as though greg-js/arch-wiki-md-repo/issues/2 confirms that the project (and the version of the wiki it pulls) won't be receiving updates for awhile now.
There seem to be a lot of alternatives, like arch-wiki-cli (but this doesn't have a local copy I believe), arch-wiki-docs + arch-wiki-lite (uses a local copy, available in html and non-html), wikiman (this seems to do everything I want although the default searching interface takes a little getting used to)
I will verify in my own time but I would like one of these projects that would allow me to create my own regularly copied local version of the wiki, rather than a backup which is automatically generated - I imagine some of the ones out there or the ones I mentioned do support this in some form.

The interface of this project is quite appealing though - anyway, well done @greg-js! This is a really cool project to find, even if now you've moved on to other things.

If someone were to pick the project up again, the ability to use our own local copy of the arch wiki rather than an automatically generated one would be good!

Hi @Jakjm yeah unfortunately I've all but abandoned this project. I made this years ago and I keep meaning to address some of these issues, but some of the underlying code badly needs a bit of a rewrite. But, story of our lives, I built this as a way to teach myself to get a full-time job in the industry but then once I got that job, I could no longer manage to devote time to it after work to actually maintain it.

Please anyone feel free to fork and pick up! But tbh, with the available alternatives, I would argue time might be better spent on PRs to those other projects.
