Tab complete in Quick Open?

Curious... have you ever tried to get tab completion working within quick open? I usually use Emacs + Helm, and with that setup I never use a visual file browsers and instead lean on tab completing directory and filenames to open them or switch to them. It works similar to how tab completing directories in a shell works.

Do you know of any way to do tab completion within VS Code's quick open window? Thanks for any advice on that.
