It'd be great to have VOLK containers for all the different platforms for people to test. This should basically be GR containers minus the VOLK binary and all the other dependencies that are not required for VOLK.

Given the similarity of the projects, we could make the VOLK containers a base layer for the GR containers.

I'd argue, people can use such a container locally to test VOLK.

When I opened this issue, it took quite a while to install the dependencies. Nowadays, a CI job runs in one minute, including dependency installation, compilation, and tests. Thus, if you want to close this issue, please go ahead.
