Результирующий файл пуст для OpenOffice 4.1.7, но имеет содержимое с точки зрения, скажем Live365Office и, понятное дело, MS Office.
Речь идёт о вашем демо на apex.oracle.com

Because it can be interesting for all users, I will write the comment on English.
Unfortunately due to lack of time the support of OpenOffice/Libre Office is not planned.
I will be happy to accept pull request, If someone can add this functionality.

It's not about an OpenOpfice support, it's about xlsx quality (compability) , from my viewpoint.
For example, xlsx from Google Drive document doesn't have any problem, but plugin's xlsx does have it.
