Bundling Ghostty Terminal as a Universal AppImage

Hello everyone!

Created a repository to bundle Ghostty as a Universal AppImage! This will allow users to easily run Ghostty on various Linux distributions without the hassle of managing dependencies.

Features of the AppImage:

1. Universal Compatibility: Works on various Linux distributions.
2. No Installation Required: Just download and run!
3. Self-Contained: Includes all necessary dependencies.

The packaging instructions for the AppImage have been honored as outlined in the official Ghostty documentation guidelines here: Ghostty Packaging Instructions.

I would love to hear your review and feedback on this, and if all the criteria is accepted would like to know the next steps.

Thank you for this. I can confirm it works great on ubuntu (unlike the ubuntu deb from the download page fails with an opengl context error).
Wish this was a download option just like the universal binary on the mac, but it is what it is.

Thank you for the feedback, PR #270 has been submitted to be added into the official Docs as a community package.

Please do read the update instructions here regarding updating to future revisions and automate desktop integrations (to make things easier), Ghostty AppImage will work with any Linux distribution 😄

Wish this was a download option just like the universal binary on the mac, but it is what it is.

Note if you want a MacOS like experience you can use the appimaged daemon which automatically integrates and checks for updates to all the appimages you drop in ~/Applications, ~/Downloads, etc.
