Ask a question about GEOS-Chem:

The Met_BXHEIGHT (#511) is defined as Grid box height (Tracer # for GAMAP = 1), with unit of 'm'. Does this parameter equals to the height between layers?

Thanks for writing @LiHui94. Yes, Met_BXHEIGHT is the height in meters between the top & bottom edge of each grid box.

Also, we recommend using python instead of GAMAP to visualize output from the GEOS-Chem neCDF diagnostic files. GAMAP is no longer supported.
