Our current debug setup doesn't work on Node > ~10 and latest versions of Chrome. Here's an SO post on the matter and here's a Github issue from the Node repo.

It would be great to figure out a way around this so that we can insert breakpoints into the code.

Actually, this is no longer an issue. It's likely been fixed in a Chrome update.
