Integration with drupal/civi environment variables

I wonder if this extension would be able to help keep the drupal environment variable in sync with the one being introduced in Civi: civicrm/civicrm-core#8724

This extension relates to Environment Indicator (which makes the current environment visible), not Environment (which does the actual legwork of providing support for environments in Drupal).
