Couldn't you assign some trusted volunteers that users could submit website fixes too such as the bare minimum needed to get popular sites like Youtube to work?
The whitelist could be optional so users can be warned that the fixes might compromise their privacy but with a group of trusted volunteers they could check that the only bare minimum is used and to fix the list when things change.
Or maybe even have individual fixes such as Youtube.Fix instead of a list?
Just a thought for an enhancement that others could run on your behalf.
