Can't do this through send() per
nodejs/node-v0.x-archive#5727

could imagine using piped stdout - although hard to enforce.
Could also imagine using shared memory, or some other ipc type thing.

This appears to just be that array buffers get mangled. Node 'Buffer's pass through okay. Link will need to convert to/from acceptable binary form.
