some updates here

I'm seeing this behavior consistently:

  • Initial install of Firefox succeeds
  • Open Firefox on host
  • Attempt a re-install. Firefox quits, but the install attempt fails
  • Attempt another re-install. This one succeeds (?¿?)
  • Subsequent installs also succeed, even after uninstalling the app and re-installing from scratch.
  • The only way I'm able to get the failure to happen again is by resetting the device

not really sure what the difference is between the first and subsequent re-installs... doing more digging to get to the bottom of this
