Similar to #12, I am now getting this from flatpak update:
Error: Wrong size for extra data https://repo.skype.com/deb/pool/main/s/skypeforlinux/skypeforlinux_8.100.0.203_amd64.deb

Hello.

I am atempting to fix this, here's a summary:

The package that Flatpak fetches from Microsoft Servers has gotten a different sha256sum fingerprint than that on Flatpak's recipe. It seems that the package provided by MS servers changed and then rolled back without any correlating changelog or version change. Flatpak relies on the changelogs provided by a third party to update its sha256sum fingerprints automatically for newly released packages. If the package provided by a third party changes without an official release, the sha256sum digest will be outdated and flatpak won't proceed with the update after downloading on the users side. Meanwhile, I've been trying to keep the fingerprints up-to-date with the current package provided by MS. I made a PR for the first change and I'll be doing another one soon to fix it again.

Lastly, I have no idea what caused this. Could be either MS's fault or my connection with MS has been tampered. The last one is believed to be less likely, because @flathubbot was reporting a broken link on PR #206.

It's ok, amd64 is basically the same as x86-64.

I see you, @muriloloffi, said at first that this was a duplicate of #207 — is that not so? I am afraid that, having seen #12, I forgot to check more recent issues: sorry!

(Not asking for a detailed answer, just wondering.)

Glad to say my update (using the default rather than development repository) succeeded today, just when I needed it Skype.
