July 21 - July 29: Confirmation of Notary WG for E-Fil+ Pilot (see #579)

July 22 - Aug 9: Pilot detail review and Enterprise enhancement review in E-Fil+ Notary Discussion Boards

• We will open discussions for review and feedback by the community of the details of the pilot and separate enterprise enhancement proposals

Aug 9 - Sept 30: Establish/understand legal structure/outlines/templates needed between Clients, Lead SPs, other SPs

Storage Provider (SP) Eligibility and Expression of Interest Details

SP Eligibility:

1. “Enterprise Ready”, meaning that Storage Providers interested in participating in E-Fil+ ideally:
   1. Have dedicated support resources (Business Devs and Solutions Architects)
   2. Have access to tooling and/or completed PL training (ESPA)
      1. Ex: Familiarity with sealing resources to onboard data and an onboarding software tool to ingest data
   3. Have completed previous Fil+ deals
   4. The ideal threshold being the previous completion of:
      1. at least 100 TiB of data onboarded
      2. a minimum of two LDN clients supported
   5. Are prepared to put in to the required time and effort as a “Lead SP” in:
      1. Qualifying clients data storage solution (confirm application information).
      2. Sourcing other SPs that have comparable ops, service levels + infrastructure
      3. Submit SP geographic distribution and data transfer plan, timeframes
2. Can bring a new deal to the pilot
   1. One note - if you do not have a client for the pilot, there are several current active LDNs with encrypted data that could potentially be used in this pilot. Contact @kevzak or @galen-mcandrew for more information
3. Agree to have Filecoin Foundation Solutions Architects be engaged directly in customer discussions during the pilot
4. Report back on a weekly basis (via survey or form):
   1. Their status on deals, issues
   2. Any feedback on their experience with the pilot processes for onboarding a new client
5. Participate in any WG calls, governance calls, and office hours as needed
6. Abide by the Code of Conduct LINK

Client Criteria:

1. Client minimum POC sample size of 100TiBs + replicas, (absolute maximum of a 10 PiB dataset for this 6 month pilot)
2. Client is willing to work with the a Lead SP during this proof of concept pilot on their CX Journey, including:
   1. Pre Sales form
   2. Filecoin solution fit
      1. Determine if they are a good fit for Fil+ program
   3. Data classification and handling
   4. SP/Client to discuss terms of POC
   5. SP/Client to complete KYC/Fil+ application
   6. Client is open to participating in a feedback loop of their experience (via survey or form)

SP Expression of Interest Details:

• Open Period for submission: August 1 - August 31
• SPs can submit an expression of interest here: (https://efilplus.super.site/storage-provider-expression-of-interest)
• SP expression of interests will be reviewed against the eligibility criteria listed above and each will be contacted regarding their status.
  • If there is an issue with eligibility, SPs can schedule time to come to designated virtual office hours to review/discuss aspects of their eligibility they believe are in question.
• 25 eligible SPs will be selected for Phase 1 (Oct-Dec 2022) and an additional 25 will be selected for Phase 2 (Jan - Mar 2023)
• Please ensure to include an estimated timing of client commitment in your expression of interest.
  • We want to know if your client is already committed to the POC and if so, when they will be ready to submit an LDN application.
  • For example: If you expect to still be in pre-sales/negotiations during the Phase 1 timeframe, than Phase 2 is likely a better option.
