Problem starting the game CRYSIS VR windows 10 #106
Comments
This render resolution looks strange and is very likely too high. Are you using Pimax? You may have to try a reduced FOV setting. |
I'm using PIMAX 8K |
Yeah, you'll need to lower your render resolution, ideally by choosing a lower FOV |
I'm unable to increase the resolution beyond 800x600. |
I'm not talking about the game resolution, I'm talking about your headset's render resolution. You either need to choose a smaller FOV in your Pimax software, or reduce the SteamVR resolution scale. |
Here’s what I did to get the game running: Set PIMAXPLAY to FOV-normal (150°) and Render Quality to 1.00. In STEAM, I left the render resolution on AUTO. By the way, I’m referring to adjusting the in-game resolution. |
The ingame resolution has no meaning and purpose in VR. It always shows 800x600 because the game does not understand the actual VR render resolution. |
Much appreciated, up to this point! |
Hello, I installed the latest Crysis mod vr according to the directions and the game won't start win10-black screen
