Hello, I installed the latest Crysis mod vr according to the directions and the game won't start win10-black screen

This render resolution looks strange and is very likely too high. Are you using Pimax? You may have to try a reduced FOV setting.

Yeah, you'll need to lower your render resolution, ideally by choosing a lower FOV

I'm unable to increase the resolution beyond 800x600.

I'm not talking about the game resolution, I'm talking about your headset's render resolution. You either need to choose a smaller FOV in your Pimax software, or reduce the SteamVR resolution scale.

Here’s what I did to get the game running: Set PIMAXPLAY to FOV-normal (150°) and Render Quality to 1.00. In STEAM, I left the render resolution on AUTO. By the way, I’m referring to adjusting the in-game resolution.

The ingame resolution has no meaning and purpose in VR. It always shows 800x600 because the game does not understand the actual VR render resolution.
