NRGKick just opened their JSON and MODBUS API. You can enable them in the app. |

Isn't it already broken? I'm currently trying to configure my old nrgkick, but it doesn't work, as hciconfig is needed (which is deprecated both on home assistant and on arch) for it to work. |

The NRGKick chargers require integration via bluetooth unless the Connect module is installed. Since the bluetooth library we've been using is end of life we are announcing that the NRGKick module will be removed in an upcoming release (#14751).
Users are recommended to switch to a different wallbox. Since NRG is also not friendly to providing open APIs (see #4425) it seems advisable, not to use another NRG product.
