This might be a plugin, and well beyond the purview of this issue tracker, but I would like to see Import/Export with Google Docs. Yes, this would probably require OAuth, which may be a bit much to manage.

Is this the sort of thing people would like to see a plugin for?

Depends on the people and if google provides an easy api for this

I can see the logic to this.. Especially w/ what's happening w/ flickr at the mo. It's only a matter of time until Google goes the same way. http://www.kk.org/thetechnium/archives/2011/07/cities_are_immo.php

I see use for this but also agree that we should keep this as a plugin and not part of core.

As far as I know google docs does not have cors headers. So this would have to happen on the server side.

Feel free to implement this as a plugin! (It's already on the wishlist) So this may be closed...?!
