Everything here looks correct as per updated expectations with Fleet Server, with one question I will ask the team. I will send an update via email and we can discuss how to update test content. @amolnater-qasource @dikshachauhan-qasource thanks for confirming. @nchaulet hi - Can you confirm the Elastic-Agent Policy should be installed by default in the stack, but not a part of either 'Default' policy? I would like to be pointed to the dev ticket that relates to Elastic-Agent integration please? I see this for adding it, but it doesn't have much context: The test team can update more content and test post-7.12 things starting now so any details are helpful for citing specs. @ph fyi. |
Hi @EricDavisX Thank you for the confirmation on this. We will validate above as per feedback round is completed by all. Thanks |
Yes it's correct the Elastic Agent package only install assets, and do nothing if added to a policy. |
Pinging @elastic/fleet (Team:Fleet) |
I will close this one, it should be installed it more a supporting "package" and only provide a dashboard to visualize monitoring information for Elastic agent. @EricDavisX This could be a test that we actually add, to validate that monitoring information can be show in the dashboard. |
we can track remaining questions in #94462 - @amolnater-qasource @dikshachauhan-qasource please assign that out and help me drive the questions + test content + tests. |
Hi Eric Thanks for the update. We will be following up on #94462 for further testing. QAS |
