I know that the core KB query box/field depends on the data that is in the cluster, but having a few things like the following;

detecting if () or [] are used and saying field:(value OR|AND)
if a space is used (again) suggest OR|AND

And so on. This would be based on the existing query DSL.

Timelion does a good job of this, where as you type things it makes suggestions :)
