Kibana 4.4.2: blank web page when accessed by Safari in Private Browsing Mode #6660

When connecting to a Kibana 4.4.2 node using Safari's Private Browsing Mode, an empty/blank page is presented to the user.

Using non-private mode works fine. The error shown in Safari's error console is: Error: QuotaExceededError: DOM Exception 22

This could be related to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21159301/quotaexceedederror-dom-exception-22-an-attempt-was-made-to-add-something-to-st

If so, perhaps a warning to the user would be appropriate?
