Describe the feature:
For some reason a recent update removed the phase filter from Index Management (#/management/elasticsearch/index_management/indices). Please put it back.

Describe a specific use case for the feature:
So I can quickly see the status of my live/hot indices.

Hi @OrangeDog thanks for creating this issue. I agree we need to show this information in the UI. It was originally removed because we had incorrectly implemented the feature and the UI was indicating that indices were in incorrect phases. I've created #56799 to track this enhancement, which contains more background information if you're interested.

Well it always did what I wanted correctly, which was show me only the current (hot) indexes.

@OrangeDog I've created a PR to bring this behavior back for 7.7: #57402. If you have time, I'd appreciate your review! Thanks.
