Date fields are not properly formatted. This is because the values returned from _searchare formatted as epoch_millis so they can be used for quantitative styling. The problem is that epoch_millis returns values as strings instead of numbers so the formatter does not know what to do with them. I have opened elasticsearch issue elastic/elasticsearch#50622 to resolve the problem on the API side.
