Precondition

• Install the Endpoint Security on the kibana

Steps to Reproduce

1. Generate few Alerts .
2. Click on Filed icon and add more field let more that 20.
3. Click on Full Screen.
4. Observed that all the field information not show under the Alert Full Screen , user need to lowed the browser zoom and on decreasing browser zoom data becomes not readable.

Actual Result
No Horizontal Scroll bar under Alert Full Screen View due to which all field not show

I am not able to reproduce it on master. I tested it on chrome 92.0.4515.159, safari 14.1.1, and Firefox 91.0.2.

we have retested and found it still occuring on our hardware machines.

The Horizontal scroll bar is not present in the full screen mode . Make to sure add more field on alert list let say 16 . That way you can check you were not able to read all 16 field data due to no horizontal bar , plus with browser zoom out field start showing but becomes unreadable.

we will re-test the issue on BC4

You are absolutely right! It only showed up to me because I have a magic mouse, so I can scroll horizontally. I am taking a look at it.

I was able to isolate the issue and trace the origin back to EuiDataGrid. So, I created this elastic/eui#5131 issue for the Eui team.

Another related issue:
When the alert table is full screen, the timeline flyout bar covers the alerts table footer completely. So the user can't change the page any longer. @mdefazio What should happen here? Should we hide the timeline bar?

I think the timeline bar should not be shown. We are hiding the search bar and so I feel this should follow the same logic. We also no longer have drag-n-drop, and when adding a field to the timeline, we show a toast (correct?).

Is this fixed in the provided PR that closes this? My apologies for missing this mention until now.

As per the update from @mdefazio about the expected behavior for not showing the horizontal scroll and the other issue of timeline bar covering row per page and next page is now fixed, so closing this issue.
