I took this GIF while loading the Metricbeat Host overview dashboard on my local machine running the master branch. This dashboard contains many TSVB panels, and it takes several seconds to load the whole dashboard, but TSVB does not show any indication that progress is being made. You can see this in this GIF of the interaction:
